License and insurance details are self-reported at signup and labeled that way to homeowners. During beta we verify licenses manually against state records; verified badges replace the self-reported label and travel with every bid you submit. Editing your license details resets verification until we re-check.
Verified reviews
Ratings on your profile come exclusively from homeowners whose accepted bid you completed on the platform. Nobody can review you without having hired you, which means your competitors can't tank you and you can't buy stars. Finish jobs well during beta and your rating history is already working for you the day paid plans arrive.
Pricing
HomeForeman Pro is free during beta while we build density in Jacksonville, FL. Paid plans for marketplace access and bidding are planned; founding contractors who join during beta will get early-adopter pricing before public rates. No per-lead fees on work you don't win is the design principle.
